Nana and pop pay us a visit.

Here are a few cute ones of Connor with Nana and Pop.

Connor is 5 months TODAY!

I can't believe it. My little man is getting so big. He's sitting up so good and he's even starting to show signs of blonde hair. I've been awful about posting to my blog so, I will try and do better. Here's a few pictures to see how the little man's changing.

Nobody gets a smile like Nana!

Ok, here are some adorable pictures of Connor. He really only smiles like this when he's with his Nana (Nick's mom). She's so patient and is so good at making him cooh! I am so grateful to have such wonderful family around to watch Connor grow!

Big Brother, Colton.

Colton is just now getting used to his baby brother enough to want to participate. He'll offer to do things like give him his passy, talk to him, and tell me he's spit up all over himself! It amazes me how much they favor each other.....and therefore, favor their daddy!

Connor is a kicker!

Take a look at Connor kicking up a storm! He is such a happy, active baby boy.

Visit from my parents.

My parents came to visit and we had a great time. Dad got to meet Connor, his new grandson. Mom got to spoil him with lots of kisses and love. On Saturday, it was beautiful so we all went to the zoo. We saw almost everything before we had tired ourselves out enough to go home. The main goal was to let Colton see the Zebra's and the Giraffes because those were his favorites. Cheyenne, Colton and Connor were all asleep before we got home. Later that evening, we went to one of our favorite restaurants and had a great time. Really it was just a nice weekend of visiting.

Needless to say, we were sad to see them go!

Connor started daycare.

This past Wednesday, Connor started daycare. We starting off gradually and he's only going for half days right now. I was surprisingly NOT a basket-case! He seemed real happy and he smiled at his new teacher, Bonita. There are only a few babies in his class and that makes me feel real good.

I do carry around this empty feeling with me and feel a little weird not having him with me all the time. I miss him so much. The time has really flown.

I'm not sure what I will feel like when I have to leave him for a full day. I hope I will keep it together. I guess the separation is harder on me than it is for him. However, I think he is like his daddy in that he's a pretty laid back little man. He doesn't seem to get worked up about much at this point. Which is totally not like me! :)

He is such an angel and I am so thankful for my beautiful little boy!

He Smiles and Almost Laughs!!!

My Babysitter

Everyone asks how the kids are doing with a brand new baby. Well, I don't think I could ask for a better helper. Cheyenne is the best big sister and biggest help I could ever ask for. She is always asking to hold Connor, feed him, dress him, etc... She is just wonderful. Some people depend on a swing or a bouncey chair, I have a devoted big sister.

Here are some of the many pictures I have of big sister and little Connor.

Connor has been such a joy lately. I think because he's eating more and that makes him happy when he's awake and he sleeps real good now. We have been walking when it's pretty outside and he really seems to enjoy being outside.

I can't believe that tomorrow he will be four weeks old! The time is indeed flying by and I'm starting to get a little panicked about going back to work and having to leave him. I guess this is normal and soon it will all be routine. I am just so thankful for this time with him now. He is the most precious thing in the world! REALLY !

I finally have his birth announcements completed. What an ordeal! I will be sending them out soon.

I believe he's stirring so I must go.

Thanks everyone for checking in on us. We're doing great!

Here are some more pictures of my little man. He is doing great as far as learning how to grow and telling me what it is he needs from one minute to the next. We still have some more adjustments to make like trying to help Cheyenne and Colton understand what quiet is again and he is quickly learning both of their voices. He is sleeping like a champ!
Today, we are going to go out for a walk since it's warmed up some and we'll see how that goes.
Easter weekend was fun! He witnessed his first Brooks Easter Egg Hunt at his Nana's. I forgot to take a picture of his adorable easter outfit with my camera. I will get some from his Nana and post them as soon as I can.
Time is definately flying by and it's amazing how fast every hour seems to pass. I guess Connor and I stay very busy :)!
Speaking of which....I must go tend to my little man.
Take Care!

My Mom Is Leaving...

My mom is leaving and I'm kind of interested to see what I'm going to do now since she's been so much help to me and Connor. I guess we'll just have to give it a try and if I can't hack it, I can call her and tell her to come back. :) She will indeed by missed!!!

Baby Connor went to the doctor this morning and he's gained 5 oz. since Monday! The doctor said we're doing great.

I can't wait for everyone to meet the baby boy!

My baby boy.

Ok, here he is! He's just the most handsome little man I've ever laid eyes on. We had our very first ALL NIGHT sleep last night. I think I figured out what I was doing wrong... I was sleeping somewhere other than where daddy was so that he could rest and go to work and function. That way was not cutting it for any of us and Nick laid down the law, moved the bassinet in our room and there you have it. The only thing is, he didn't sleep in the bassinet, he slept right in the middle of mommy and daddy! Oh well! We'll fight that battle when I make him realize the difference between night and day. :)

Anyway, I will post some more pictures in a little while.

Thank you everyone for your phone calls, gifts, flowers, and support.

He really is just so perfect and I still don't know what I could have done to deserve such a precious little baby boy.

All my love.

Our first blog.

Here is a picture of our family. However, things are soon to be changing. I am now FULL TERM and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our brand new baby boy, Connor. He's being a little stubborn right now as he doesn't seem to be real anxious to meet us!

Hopefully, we'll have more news next week. Or, maybe even sooner.
